I say seperate NY by club who maintains the course.
Sounds like you're asking that we maintain a directory of all the courses that DisCap members have played. See http://www.dgcoursereview.com for that.

I agree. Reading through this thread it sounds like dgcoursereview is what you're looking for. Discappers shouldn't be responsible for updating course info for courses located outside of discap land. Especially considering that courses tend to change so frequently and only the respective locals know what's really going on. dgcoursereview is a great resource.

All I asked was could this thread be better organized. And I volunteered to organize it. I have reviewed some courses on dgcr. dgcr asks you not to review a course unless you have played most of it. Which I assume means if a course has 2 sets of tees on 18 holes you have to play both layouts before you can submit a review. And not all of the comments here are a full review. So this thread is a less formal place to make comments about other courses.

I thinned it out a bit.
NEFA courses.
NY courses outside the DisCap umbrella.

If I'm not mistaken, from my time when I used to have a forum, I think it would make for an awful lot of categories because threads within a a sub-forum usually get bumped when posted to. So if you have it alphabetical and then somebody comes and posts in a Z course, it moves to the top. Seems like it would just add more forums/sub-forums/categories to the site. And it's nothing against DisCap people, but if I'm traveling, I don't usually come here to look up courses. I agree with Jeff -- DGCoursereview is the perfect spot for that.

I was wondering why no one had commented there.
All set now.

And why must we now be teased by not being able to view the DisCap 2014 forum? :eusa-naughty:
