Adirondack getaway

Post by jZip » Fri Nov 22, 2013 12:17 pm

The gf and I are looking to rent a cabin or such for a few days immediately after xmas. We'd like it to be quiet and secluded but within a half hour or so of Lake Placid and/or Saranac Lake. Anyone have a recommendation?

I hear this guy has a cabin:

Might be a little farther than half hour from Placid, though...

The place Abe knows is dippikill and it's near gore mt/warrensburg not as far up as lake placid. I saw Abe's facebook pics from a couple week's ago brought back some old memories. I used to go there with family and friends as a preteen. Also pretty sure you have to be student or faculty at SUNY to book it.
