Hoo haa!

Post by softball29 » Wed Sep 14, 2011 6:44 pm

I met one of my goals for the year... breaking 70. Came up with a friend today, played the whites (as per norm) and really zoned in and finished with a 64. I was pumped as can be. Could have possibly been another 3-5 strokes lower... damn bouncy putts. It's really nice playing those casual rounds with no pressure, no time, no other people... just a couple of people flinging plastic. :)

Oh yeah -- I have a Vibram Ibex that I got at the Vibram Open. Not on the market yet, but I chucked it a few times as second/third shots testing some things out. This is going to quickly become one of my middle discs. I like it. A lot.

I just got the Ibex and Sole test discs from Vibram. I'll have them at the BBQ on Saturday.

Yeah, I got a couple of the Ibex's from the man himself at the VO. Pretty cool stuff. I love the feel of them. Haven't tried the Sole.

Sole is much more putter-like than anything they've put out before.

My friend James has the Sole. I tried it out back in July at some point. He must have just gotten it. Then i was looking around and couldn't find one anywhere thought my eyes had been playing tricks on me. Really liked it.

got my testers yesterday too!! I have a rare day off today, but it's cold and rainy. Need to work up some enthusiasm. The discs feel super nice though. With out even throwing it I can say the Ibex will likely replace my Nebula.
