With Justin's announcement of the baskets being ordered, who wants to be on the work crew ?

I'll be packing work clothes in my truck tonight for any weekday work. 8)

I can help, can't do heavy lifting, but I'll do what I can.

When is the ground going to thaw?

Hopefully in the next couple weeks! Can't wait to get the course in the ground, looking forward to the work day!

Someone get a hold of a power post hole digger and we can get the holes dug ASAP.

What's the minimum temp needed for concrete to cure properly?

i believe the city has offered it's equipment and crews. i bet they've got an auger that could make quick work of the holes.

If we dont get an auger from the city we will rent one from Home Depot. I am not sure how much the city is going to get involved but we will ask. They will probably either do all or nothing. I need to call the Parks Director to see what he says. He told me before he will get the stone dust for us so lets see what else he can do.

Do you think the ground will be thawed by next weekend?

Stick a shovel in your backyard, if you can get it to go down a foot we should be good to go.

YIPPEEE !!!! I got a email pic today of a bunch of Innova boxes that a certain someone received.

We have the baskets!

I have a meeting set up with the parks director early next week. We are going to discuss how to get all of the work done. I want to work during Spring break (4/4 - 4/10). Hopefully we can get all the baskets in the ground that week.

Friday, April 2nd is our first workday. I want to rent an auger to dig all of the holes on Friday. Greg, my brother, is going to help me dig all 18 holes. I hope we can do it in 4 hours. If two other people can help, they can follow us and install the sleeves. My goal is to dig all of the holes and finish installing 9 sleeves by Friday.

Can anybody out there lend a hand?

April 1st is a Thursday.......... best I can do is be there just after 3pm, Thursday or Friday.

I wonder what Skot Hanna has cookin' those days. He was a key player for sleeve installation at J-Park.

This is so cool! Congratulations, you guys.

I want to help...but can't really do it on weekdays (with the work schedule). Do you have any weekend sessions planned?

April 3rd is a Tourney which many DisCappers are going down too. The 4th is Easter so we will not be working on Sunday. I have the rest of the week off so I will be working that week to try and get everything done. Maybe Sat, April 10th we can have a work party to finish up any work that needs to be done.

i dont think i can help install..i have a skin graft on my face which wont allow me to bend over and strain at this time....but i have to warn you guys...not a good idea to let inexperienced help set your baskets...they must be plumb and at regulation height. i am sure you got the directions on how to set them from innova

Just so you know, I may not have experience putting in golf baskets, but I'm a very handy person (do my own plumbing, carpentry, woodworking). I'm capable of doing things plumb and square.
