She said they will talk about what they want to do and get back to us. We are going to follow up in about a week. It would really help if people just mentioned it to them. Maybe if you go there ask if they are going to sponsor a hole in Schenectady. Would like to get somebody who sells discs to sponsor us so we can get them some business.

OK I'll stop in there on Monday if possible, definitely by Thursday. I'll mention the Nisky course, too. As well as potential High School rivalry. Will report what happens.

It has been a long time coming but Play it Again Sports just jumped on board with a project sponsorship. They are all in so we are going to use them for our gift certificates for our tournaments. If you stop by there thank them and spend some money. We are happy to have Play it Again as one of our major sponsors and I hope to bring them tons of business.

Freeman's Bridge Wine and Liquor and Willie Deane III (Schenectady Basketball Player who now plays professionally) are both going to sponsor holes. That leaves us only two holes left. Here is the line up.

1. Hoffman Law Firm
2. Willie Deane III
3. The Gazette
4. Northeastern Fine Jewelry
5. Smith Barney
6. Rocky Mt. Empire
7. Parkview Cemetery
8. Pinhead Susan's
9. Union St. BID
10. Freeman's Bridge Wine & Liquor
11. Available
12. Northeast Pest Control
13. Available
14. Doug Hoffman
15. Bombers Burrito Bar
16. Play it Again Sports
17. Hoffman Brothers
18. Rose Garden Restoration Committee

The Rose Garden Board meets tomorrow to decide if they are in. If they decide against it we will have 3 spots open and the Rocky Mt. Empire will sponsor and adopt the 18th hole. I should have some temporary tee signs up by this weekend.

I need new golf shoes, I'll shop at Play It Again Sports first. Probably pick up a disc while I'm there, too....

Tell them thanks for the cps sponsorship and that's why you went there for your shoes.

That's a nice sponsor list. Some great bars, and some places I really wouldn't expect to sponsor disc golf! I hope the cemetery doesn't get a lot of business from their tee sign!

Those are just temporary to have something in place for now. I need to sink some posts on 8, and 18, and I am waiting for logos on the others. They will do for now but the final ones are going to be the same design but twice as big and aluminum. I am also considering adding the DisCap logo and our web site.

Check it out:

Justin- I put your sponsor list on the bottom. I could add links for all the places too. You should let them know that exists

Hole #4 sponsor(Northeastern Fine Jewelry) will be getting a visit from me today............ i discovered that a diamond is missing from my wedding ring. I'm thinking that it became a part of tee #17 at J-Park this past weekend.

"The new course at Central Park in Schenectady, NY is looking for permanent hole sponsors. Would NEFA be interested ??"

the reply to my post on the NEFA forum.......... http://forums.nefa.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5563

Contact the NEFA Board. There is a grant form you fill out and explain your needs.
Amesbury recently received a grant after losing 3 baskets to weather.
And yes, we have not used the grant money yet.

Justin, I thought I'd sent the form to you already but hit me up if i didn't.

That is what it was. We said it was good for 3 years but realistically it looks like the signs will last a lot longer than that. If you sponsor a hole we would like your direct input in how you want your money to benefit the course. Then our board will vote on it and then get it done.

OK I'll sponsor basket #6. Make the check to DisCap? Who do I send the sign copy to?
