No video of the "hit" but I did video of the remaining holes that the rest of the guys played. I think the incident shook them up because I've got about a dozen clips of missed putts.

Looks like they got about 12 inches at Mt Kisco by 10:30 last night.

as long as this is rockin', when I first was scouting the course, with a hand-held gps and a survey map, I was out past the back nine when I heard a tree falling towards me.

I looked up to see that it wasn't a tree, but a huge bear, sliding down the 40 ' tall tree next to me from the very top like it was a fireman coming down the pole. He or she landed about 8 feet away from me, stood up and we looked into each others eyes, "it's ok, I won't putt a basket here." the bear took off and bounded out off sight in seconds.
course design is a learning process.

You looked into each others eyes. How romantic.

it was more like he or she was deciding whether or not to eat me, and I was trying to step back as though I could even think of running away

it came up the other day, remember when your drive was under the cliff on hole 3, and you had to lie down on your back and throw a tomahawk 40 feet up and six feet over without it coming back at your face, or rolling back past the tee, that just doesn't happen.

Had a flashback of that this weekend at Willow....... we positioned a temp basket behind a softball backstop and Greg and I managed to park our upshots against the wrong side of the fence. I chose the rollaround shot to save par and Greg sprawled out and put the spike anny within 6 feet.

Just read this thread again about how the commie Town Board of the commie town of Woodstock used socialist tactics to tell people what they can do on their private property. Commie bastards took away a great course from a land owner (in communism there are no land owners except them), because the number one enemy in communism is bourgeoise land owners.

About 3 weeks ago the Town of Providence gave me (a bourgeois land owner, enemy of the people) a lot of commie shinola about having a disc golf course on my private property, without their commie approval. Their commie approval of course means I have to give them lots of money.

I went to the town board meeting and kicked their commie asses. They were talking about how there is no Town approved bathrooms at Hyzer and people were illegally pissing in the woods, so I asked them, where do you think loggers and hikers and hunters pee? And where do bears pee. Hyzer Creek remains open, with 2nd amendment rights to bear arms, free speech, sufferage for women and civil rights for blacks, as usual. As long as you don't have any late-term abortions you can play as many rounds as you want at Hyzer.

I'm glad you went to the town meeting and gave your statement.
You have outhouses? Right?
That's good enough as far as I'm concerned unless you have many players (50 or more a day) coming to play & pee & poo at the course. If so... It's up to the town to decide.
I'm not sure it's commie s@%#. But who knows?
