Is anybody down for some work next week? Summer is here and I am itching to get some stuff done. I cleaned up the fairway on 10 a little bit more this morning. Now I'm ready to put in the 4 tee boxes we have gotten approval for. I think it was holes 8, 10, 12, and 16.

That is what it was. We said it was good for 3 years but realistically it looks like the signs will last a lot longer than that. If you sponsor a hole we would like your direct input in how you want your money to benefit the course. Then our board will vote on it and then get it done.

We are experimenting with what we can use in the wooded area and still keep it looking “natural”. We promised the local park users that we wouldn’t install concrete tee pads in the wooded park areas. I just want to thank everyone who came tonight. I think it was very successful. Mayor Stratton seemed enthusiastic. He played for over an hour afterwards with his son. We have a really good group of disc golfers in the area. Let's hope we get some good ink in the paper tomorrow.
