Awesome (and long) day!
Met at least 1 other person considering a course, a guy who wanted to buy Schwartz' basket on the spot, a guy from a local college who invited us to teach (summer camp style) disc golf, and a grant writer. Tailored communications will be going out to these people in addition to the "blanket email" with all the info we promised the attendees who shared their email addresses. Saratoga Spa is going to see a ton of disc golfers. I am hoping we all see more kids / families out there (all of the courses). We met people who have played all of them; Minekill, Colonial Acres, Central Park, J-Park, Hyzer, Saratoga Spa, etc
We slowly, but inevitably, burned through the last of the minis... got some donations, gave away hats/shirts. We had some people with physical disabilities find our sport/addiction quite appealing and had some grueling putt sessions. When you have a a line of 10 people (more than half children 10 or younger) waiting for their turn to putt and you're the guy picking up all of the putts.... exhausting. Of course the "pain" of it wears off when you realize you just rapidly impacted those 10 people likely to become hooked on our game. At least they know what the game is now and they know that they like playing
