Oops! I meant between 6 and 12.

Wide open between 6 and 12, aside from the hill climb past 14's pin(current 7).
Tees for 7 will remain in the same place so you could continue to play to 14s pin(which also won't be moving).
I am almost finished with the benches for #1 & 5, just the finish which should be done by the end of the month. I'll post for help with transport & placement.
When you talk to the Town can you plan for a bench behind 7 short or somewhere you think it will fit? (Side)?
This is a great place to sit and have a bench. Might need some sort of planning to accommodate for mowing.
Thank You, looking forward to 18!
Mel

I placed the benches today. Happened to notice that there is a big downed tree that makes a good bench on #5 blue already. Anyhow... I put one of my benches there for now. When the course is complete it can be moved to a better spot.

BTW, I ran into a nice guy that was playing for the first time. He found out about Disc Golf at the ADK Sports & Fitness Expo a couple of weeks back. He had one of the $10 donation Rocs and a mini.
He asked if there was a league at Blatnick?

I plan to get out and start staking tees for the new holes this week.
I'll post up once I know times and dates.

Great! Thanks.

BTW, I was at Blatnick yesterday and someone had spray-painted
Graffiti on the mower shed. Those responsible should put their energy toward playing Disc Golf instead of bad art.

Agree 100% Mel. I was at blatnick today and that was the first thing I saw. Unfortunately the second was a used condom in the parking lot :angry-banghead: great job on the benches Mel  I'm excited for the next 9 holes :)

Dropped an email to the Park people about this. Might run by there Wednesday with a Magic Eraser to see if it will come off.

Word from the Town is that the same "artist" was caught defacing the pavilions on Aquaduct Road. He's been charged with a few felonies.

I have mixed feelings about the "Kid" or "Kids" that did it. Sort of feel sorry for them.
The perpetrator will get the "Works" from the Parents and have to do Community Service most likely.
Along with paying for the damage. A life's lesson.
I had some hard learning experiences and survived.
And I doubt I'm the only one.

Even when you explain those learning experiences(I've had them too) to the younger generation, they sometimes don't get it. Saw it first-hand from nephews that I told NOT to do certain things and end up driving out to the police station to pick em up.

Put THIS kid on the work crew that's gonna help us clear fairways at Blatnick........ a couple days of thorny brush clearing might make it sink in. Them make his scrub the graffiti. :eusa-naughty:
