while I fulfilled my fantasy and we had the slickest deal ever pulled together, it turns out they were light weights in loafers and wingtips who were concerned about getting mud on their shoes. So they essentially made a donation of 120 discs to the mountain hotel, in exchange for watching me throw, and they were satisfied, and will bring sensible foot wear the next time they visit the mountains.

So we thank VW for their generous sponsorship of this new program, we have three more groups booked, who seem younger, hipper, with better shoes, and they will be using the donated discs, and paying the fee, and riding the disc golf shuttle bus. So far so good, and we didn't have to watch 60 discs all fly into the pond at once.

That's hilarious Skot. Thank you VW for the donation.

while skiing in the gorilla suit the other day an older couple yelled out, "hey aren't you the frisbee guy?"
and a lift operator went into a long story to the woman I was riding with about his struggles with putting when he saw me, she turned to me after, "wow, he's really into it."

the disc golf crowd on the ski mountain has become a year round community of people who take care of each other. I have had many things handed back to me while flying down the mountain that I passed to someone at a teebox.

damn thanks for the info. A friend rented a cabin on the mountain for a bachelor party in a few weeks and was hoping to take the group out golfing

He can take them to SunnyBrook-9 Holes-Dolans-9 Holes, or the Huntersfield Christian Center-9 Holes in Prattsville-20 Minutes from Hunter. Fun Open Course with Great views of the Mountains. I would Recommend SunnyBrook First-then Huntersfield + Dolans.

I saw 6 or 7 boxes from Innova going to Hunter Mtn. Ski Bowl through UPS this morning. Looks like they're stocking up on new product before the Mountain Jam crowd shows up!

Josh-Do You know where the cabin is located that he rented?

Cool News Gene!!

I know they sold hundreds of Discs last year. Good idea to stock up--Plus after Mountain Jam-they sell Discs throughout the Summer.

Sunnyb rook is suffering from a tic infestation, i will start setting up mnt jam course later today , so Dolan's will disappear soon. I will install some starter holes to get you onto the course from the lodge, until the fests start. Tourneys every day at 11am , and yes the pro shop is stocked, cast your vote for hmdg and buy sumpin. Don't miss mountain jam, again, it is too much fun.

Skot had it set up for the festival layout last weekend and I'd imagine will leave it that way until after this weekend's country music festival. Next festivals aren't till mid August so I suspect he'd reset the course to the full layout until then. But I'm purely guessing here.
