No set date for installation but they are shopping for concrete and rental of a post hole digger OR auger attachment for their tractors. Once those are on hand, they will call to set up a date.
We also discussed tee options and they have crusher run available but when i mentioned paver tees they were open to the idea of skipping gravel tees and going right to pavers BUT it sounds like we'd have to install those. They would buy and store the materials and all we'd have to do is go get them from the warehouse behind town hall, about 3 miles away. Access to the back of the park will be available.

Do you have any other pics of the course?

Mostly on Facebook....... space is limited on this forum(server space is free so storage space is limited).

Once the baskets go in, i'll be photographing all the holes for DGScene, DGCourseReview, etc. I can link from there to the forum without adding to OUR space.

Hole 5 at Shenantaha has a better bridge over the swampy area.
Thanks to the hot tub place next to Unified Beerworks for the donation.
Special thanks to the two kids that helped drag them out.

Went out today and cleaned up the left lines on 1&2.
Also cleaned up around those two baskets.

Added next tee arrows for new player navigation.

I planted bucket targets for three of the next 4 holes.
For now, they are labeled A, B, C & D. An expanded map is on FB.
I did some preliminary clearing on B but did not have my pole saw with me for the higher stuff.
I should be out there later this week to make them playable.

A, B & C are somewhat playable.
Hole D had more dead trees than I could handle(and i ran outta drinks)

Hole C is different than originally designed, primarily for safety.

So the A,B,C,D loop is playable. Lots of debris left on C & D so if you play them PLEASE throw stuff to the side as you go.
If you overshoot hole B, pay attention to where it goes because it slopes WAAAY DOWN to the creek.
Hole C now has a dogleg left at the end to a well protected pin. There is a possibility that it will move further left.
Hole D still has a couple dead trees that need to be cut and the green needs trimming all around. Trees with ribbons are ones that may need to go.

Hole 6 tee will be moved back ~40 feet to remove it from the view on 5.

Should make it a 475’ par 4.

Tee 6 was moved back today. 450ish par 4
Cleaned up the left side landing zone on 5, around the big pine.

If anyone is so inclined......

Trimmed up around the birch on Hole A today. No more thorny mess to deal with. Also cut the broken branch and some other dead ones.
Cleaned up the brush pile by basket 6 and added a few OB ribbons around trees to define the line past the end of the fence.

But the big news is that I started laying out the line for Hole E(future hole 10)!! Walked it off and it appears to be 225' shot that starts off open and funnels downhill to a green that slopes down to the left and behind. Painted the dead ones that need to go and yellow ribbons others that merit further discussion. No bucket target yet, just red flags at the tee and a pink ribbon on a tree near the pin.
