Points Series Breakdown
DiscGolfScene will again be the place for the scores and points leaderboard.

2 points for playing.
1 point for every player you beat.
**Remember that ties will only be broken for payout positions and if teams decided to split the $$ they're also agreeing to split the points. **
Bonus Points
** You have to pay the optional $1 to be eligible for these bonus points **
5 bonus points for players that hit the Birdie Bank.
10 bonus points for players that hit an ace.

Your best 15 weeks will count toward your point total.
No dubs on July 26th because of the 2011 Am Worlds.

J-Dubz Rules
1. Best shot format
2. Cali player gets one extra shot per hole and choice of the best shot.
3. OB is all asphalt roads and water on #5, #9(string), #11 & #14(string).
O/B flag line on #9 is IN PLAY.
Play your shot 1 meter in from O/B line.
4. NO 2 meter penalty. Mark your lie below the disc. 2 min limit on disc retrieval.
5. All PDGA courtesy and stance rules apply.

Stoppage of play due to weather
Rain is not a reason to stop play, suck it up Buttercup!! However, if thunder/lightning is present we need to do the following:

1. Once thunder is heard, be on the lookout for lightning.
2. Once the first lighning flash is seen, mark your lie and proceed quickly to the pavilion.(Make sure everyone notes the strokes they've taken on the incomplete hole.) We'll wait it out until it's gone or we run out of daylight needed to finish.
3. If we cannot continue and the majority(50% or more) of teams have COMPLETED 12 holes we will consider it a full round and payout normally.
4. If the majority has NOT COMPLETED 12 holes we will refund OR players may donate their entry fee accordingly. All ace/birdie $$ will stay in their respective pools.

Is this just 18 holes or a complete 27? Can a player join in at anytime of the season?

It'll be alternating the two different 18 hole layouts for most of the season, with some additional holes added as we get more daylight to work with. Late June/early July we may sneak in 27 holes with sunsets in the 830 area.

Full season play is not required. Come out and play anytime. Only each players' best 15 weeks count toward their point total.

good idea with the bonus points! do these get added directly to a player's total, or added to their week's total? so if i have a bad day, finish last so i only get 2 points, but hit an ace for 10 bonus points, i would get 12 points that week. now if i had 15 weeks with more than 12 points, would the bonus points from the ace get dropped? it seems they should be there to stay. I think bonus points should accumulate regardless of whether the week in which they were scored is counted. is that right?

obvously getting a little nit-picky, but it will be interesting to see if this scenario occurs.

Birdie Bank bonus points will be added to that weeks total. That's the only way I can get the DGS.com system to work it out.

Ace Bonus points can be added separately so those will be added to your total regardless of how you play that week.

Sounds fair to me. If you hit the birdie bank you are probably not near the bottom anyway.
