I can make a course topic for it, dont know if he wants that yet at this point tho. If the guy only could text!

Here is what I quickly made up, small lines are 2ft contours. Purple is the parcel boundary(100 acres). clearing is right at the top.
Looks like the peak is about 1476ft (2/3 of the way up, east side), going all the way down to the creek at the southeast of the parcel, 1206ft

Higher resolution PDF attached. If you download and open with adobe PDF reader, you can toggle the individual layers on and off for clarity:

Thanks Marty!!
I'm in the midst of building a golf course and this map will help us out a lot! 106 acres has kept me busy trying to figure out where I am.

So, We're plugging along, working to create another fun course to play in the Capital region.
The land is about 3 miles to the east of Grafton St Park, on the south side of Route 2, before you get to Petersburgh. 5 miles to Mass. And 10 miles to Vermont.
Lots of elevation change in a mostly wooded environment. From 1476 ft, dropping to 1200 feet.

There are 9 baskets in the ground and I'm working on the alternate fairways to give us 18 holes. We will be putting 18 baskets in the ground, just don't have 9 more right now.
I have no timetable for this project, (meaning, there is no house on the land and I may have to address that situation soon), but I do plan to host the DisCap monthly in July after Jeff W comes out and survives the current layout. Camping is encouraged, pay no attention to the lack of water, bathrooms, and electricity.

If you want to come up, let me know. The driveway is about a half mile long, and all uphill, but in good shape. No address, just a driveway that dead ends into Route 2.
Plenty of projects are underway and all help is appreciated.
Tree houses to be built, great views of Vermont and Mass., hydro-electric power to harness, porcupines to tame, morels to be collected, even a little swimming hole in the brook.
Looking forward to seeing ya!ll up here soon!
Bring on summer!

Does anyone have a GPS point where this driveway starts?

The driveway entrance is directly across from Avery Hill Road.

I told greg if he can bribe zip to get out there and get some pin and tee locations I can add them to the map. Even someone with a handheld that can make waypoints would work. There isn't a chasm is there? maybe kurtz kompound is better thread name!
